In Nier Replicant, the hero has more choices of weapons and swords than what one assumes. In order to get more than just the starting weapon the Nameless Blade at the beginning, the hero needs to find the other weapons. This is the way to get the weapons, and also view the details of the weapons and also the story behind each sword.

At the beginning, of course there is the Nameless Sword. The story of this sword is as follows “Smash Smash Smash Smash. Sweat tolls down the faces of hardscrabble men as they chip away at ironstone, their cheerful singing echoing through the mine. We are workers. Workers in the mine. Dirty from tip to toe, again today we search for iron with all our might. Smash. Smash. Smash. Smash.”

In short, the Nameless Blade is a simple sword forged by a village smith. More suited to fending off small animals than actual combat.

The next weapon that the hero finds is the Lily-Leaf Sword, which the hero can purchase at the local shopping district.

Then, in the Lost Shrine, the hero will get the Nirvana Dagger.

Finally, use the dlc free download and get the Cruel Oath and Virtuous Contract.
